The Gig

“This could be the first time that we have played a grocery store” was the line we heard from a number of bands when they played the Southwest Invasion Festival…on the rooftop of Whole Foods global head office in Austin, Texas.  Away from the insanity that was SxSW, Southwest Invasion provided three-days of free music, memories and amazing partner activations. The 15,000 person event provided a unique backdrop for Whole Foods, a variety of “good for you brands” like Zico, Califia, CLIF Bar, Zevia and Beyond Meat and endemic music brands like Roland and QSC Audio. Southwest Invasion could go down as one of the most integrated sponsor programs ever for FRC with in-store display, promotional programs and first-class brand activation.
